Wasps a right royal pain

I may have mentioned this before but Wasps eat moths, so having them around the trap is not ideal for trapping sessions. This morning I found 8 wasps in my trap! Last session there were none and tonight my numbers were down, coincidence maybe but I'm not sure. When I looked at the trap at around midnight there were a lot of moths, by the time I closed the trap it was not so good. The only difference, I set my alarm for 20 mins later this morning (05:20 as opposed to 05:00 on the 21st), is this the cause? should I be getting up earlier? I'll try an earlier alarm next trapping and see if it makes a change.

Anyway I'm sure you really want to know if it was worth the trapping and I have to say most assuredly it was, I trapped what I think is possibly one of the most stunning moths out there, in the form of a Burnished Brass (Diachrysia chrysitis) this metallic yellow and and brown moth, with an orange face is just amazing (I only hope my photos do it Justice?

Oh well on to the full list, 100 moths of 23 species, and surprisingly no micros (I think this is symptomatic of the wasps, I'm assuming they eat these small ones first?).
